All information recovered by the skip tracer is analyzed, verified, and used to determine the location of the individual. Skip tracing may involve gathering and analyzing a great deal of information or very little information, depending on your needs.

Our skip trace department is very efficient, with a very high success rate, and can find your defendant. LPS knows the importance of a thorough skip trace, especially when clients are faced with instances where service by publication must be pursued. If we can’t find them; LPS staff is fully trained in the proper preparation of Affidavits of Non-Service and Due Diligence. We pride ourselves in our affidavits which are detailed and complete.

LPS has developed in-house skip-tracing tools backed by a dedicated skip trace team trained to use multiple resources to effectively locate information. Our tools utilize several vendors providing updated information on each skip account as it is identified. When online and database search efforts have been exhausted, it is handed off to the Skip Trace Team for manual work. This group consists of supervisors, clerical support and skip tracers who have extensive experience and an excellent track record tracking people down.
